[ THE LITTLE DETAILS ]
A payment link.
Plain and simple.
TAPLI turns a Solana wallet address and a SOL amount into a link you can share. Here's what happens behind that little tap.
01. Make a request.
Enter your own receiving Solana wallet address and an amount in native SOL. You can add a title and a short note. TAPLI validates the address and amount, creates a random public reference, and generates a Solana Pay QR code and a payment page link.
Creating a link does not connect a wallet, require a signature, create a transaction or reserve funds. The amount is specified in SOL and its dollar value can change.
02. Share the little link.
Copy your link or save the QR. Anyone opening the link can review the exact recipient, amount and note before paying. The payer scans the QR or uses “Open in wallet” in a Solana Pay compatible wallet. Their wallet constructs the transfer and asks them to approve it.
Wallet support varies. If a desktop browser can't open the link, scan the QR with a compatible mobile wallet. You need SOL for the amount plus the network fee. TAPLI adds no platform fee.
03. Check the payment.
“Check payment” queries Solana mainnet for recent transactions that include your request's reference. It confirms a successful native SOL transfer with the exact requested amount, the same recipient, and the reference attached to that transfer instruction.
Checks are manual and read-only. A confirmed match includes a link to the transaction on Solscan. A pending status means no matching confirmed transaction was found; an unavailable status means the network could not be checked. Neither means your wallet balance was changed.
The checker examines the five most recent transactions for a reference. Public RPC services may throttle requests or have limited history. For old or unusual transactions, verify your wallet activity directly. Separate partial payments and manual transfers without the reference won't match.
Your wallet. Your decision.
TAPLI never asks for a private key or seed phrase. Funds are transferred directly between wallets. Always verify the recipient and amount in your wallet before approving. Only pay people you trust; a label on a link isn't proof of identity.
Anyone can alter the public details in a link and create a different request. Share the original link through a trusted channel. A confirmed result refers only to the exact request displayed. Payments are irreversible, and links remain usable after a payment, so don't pay a completed request again.
Little notes on privacy.
Request details are encoded in the link, not kept in a TAPLI account. Your browser stores your last 20 created requests locally for convenience. You can clear that list, but it doesn't cancel shared links. Browser storage is not a backup.
When someone opens a link, the hosting service receives its URL. A payment check sends the reference to a Solana RPC provider. On-chain transfers are public. Avoid personal or sensitive information in titles and notes.
There is no expiry, cancellation, refund service or account recovery. Keep your own records. The animated phone on the home page is a product preview; it does not send money.
Built on a shared standard.
TAPLI uses the Solana Pay transfer request specification ↗. Native SOL on Solana mainnet is the only supported currency and network.
